The core structure of wear-resistant steel plate consists of two parts: a low-carbon steel base plate, which provides the plate's fundamental strength and toughness; and an alloy wear-resistant layer, a layer of high-hardness, wear-resistant alloy material bonded to the base plate via a cladding process. This alloy wear-resistant layer, primarily composed of chromium alloy, contains as much as 20% to 30% chromium, which is crucial for the plate's excellent wear resistance.
