A: Our wear-resistant steel maintains high hardness while possessing good low-temperature impact toughness. Impact energy at -20℃ meets standards, making it less prone to breakage or chipping on mountainous, hard, and gravelly surfaces.
3. Q: What are the advantages of NM450 compared to 65Mn (for agricultural machinery)?
A: 65Mn has high hardness after quenching but is extremely brittle. NM450 is a low-alloy wear-resistant steel, hard but not brittle. 65Mn requires customers to cut and heat-treat it themselves, which is more troublesome. NM450 is a finished product in a tempered state upon leaving the factory, ensuring stable and controllable quality. NM450 has a reasonable alloy ratio and good weldability.
